WHERE ARE THE WORK FROM HOME JOBS COMING FROM?

Finding a work from home job isn’t easy because there are more people looking for work than there are companies out there to hire them. However, it surely is NOT impossible. A little persistence, good qualifications, and maybe a little luck, and it could be your turn for work from home success.

Before the advent of the internet, working from home was for the few lucky people who worked for a huge corporation and found out internally of some job posting. These jobs were few and far between. But now thanks to the internet, there are companies who contract with those large corporations, and hire people to work from home for them. Call them “Online Head Hunters” if you will. These companies look for qualified people based on the criteria given them by each of their “clients” (the big corporations). These big corporations are finding out that it is more cost effective to hire work from home Independent Contractors, rather than part-time or full-time on-site staff. They do not have to worry about vacation benefits, health and life insurance benefits, Worker’s Compensation, employment taxes, etc…. For call centers, they do not have to worry about huge buildings to house hundreds of call center employees. So these big corporations are contracting with these so-called “Online Head Hunters” (listed below), to find work from home “employees”.

The work from home Customer Service profession is growing by leaps and bounds, so much so, that it is getting difficult to keep up with all the new work from home companies.
